About the business
Phone Names was founded in 1994 by Jim Zockoll and is a subsidiary of The Zockoll Group.
It was conceived of as a mechanism to generate future branding solutions for his insatiable entreprenurial appetite. Back in a time when telephones did not even have letters on the keypad it was a bold and long term strategy that he knew one day would come to fruition.
To date the company has created two phone name brands; 0800 FLOWERS and 0800 HANDYMAN (the former having been sold in 2008) and further brands in the pipeline.
